The apple iPad is a great learning tool used in schools (and protected by our cases!!!). However, the iPad also has a great selection of video games which can be useful for relaxing and also challenging one’s mind!
Here is our top 5 games for iPad. We made this list with games that we think are appropriate and fun for both kids and adults!
5. Monument Valley
This game is one of those mesmerizing, wonderful and creative puzzle type games that start off innocently and simple but throughout becomes increasingly difficult and mysterious.
One of the best things about this game is, of course, the visuals. The game is artfully designed with complementary colors and patterns that make your eyes wonder across the screen as your character explores the mysteries of the world.
2048 was a popular puzzle back in the day; the goal is pretty simple: combine blocks of the same number “2” ,”4,” etc, each time multiplying the block, until you get a 2048 block!
It’s easier said than done! This game controls pretty easily, just swipe in the direction you want the number blocks to go, when number blocks collide (of the same number) they will be multiplied by two!
3. Super Mario Run
Everyone loves Mario! Super Mario Run is one of Nintendo’s first introductions into the mobile gaming market with the Italian plumber we all know and love.
The music is top notch and the characters are recognizable. This is definitely one of my favorite games on this list since it brings back so many memories.
Of course, the gameplay isn’t anything new or crazy, we have seen games like this before. There are, however, a few new twists and game modes that Nintendo introduced to this type of game that makes Super Mario Run one of the best games of this type!
2. Radiant Defense
This is one of the most difficult games on this list, and that’s why I love it so much! Radiant Defense is a tower defense type game that takes place in space.
The player’s goal is to defend their base against hoards of cute jellyfish looking aliens. You set turrets and other weapons to fend off the alien invasion. I would consider myself a veteran tower defense player, and I can tell you the challenge level of this game is pretty steep.
If you are looking for a really good challenge, you have to try Radiant Defense!
1. Minecraft Pocket Edition
Everybody has heard about minecraft. When the pocket edition first launched, it was extremely limited, and seemed almost “pointless” to some players.
Minecraft pocket has come a long way since then, the new updates make this game comparable to the PC version.
If you want to find out why Minecraft was one of the biggest games ever, you have to give it a try for yourself!
What makes Minecraft such a great game for everyone to play is that your imagination really dictates how you play this game. Don’t let the simply looking graphics fool you, this is a fantastic game on both the PC and IOS!
What do you think? Have you played any of these games before? Give it a try!
